The grounds of the Tavern make it an ideal location for many events during the year. Several local events are hosted by us to which all visitors are welcome.

The most notable event held annually is Anzac Day. Our traditional Anzac Day begins with the Dawn Service at Anzac Park and is followed by a hearty country breakfast in the Tavern grounds. The breakfast is hosted by the Tavern and is free.

Of course Anzac Day would not be complete without the traditional Two-Up game. The game is normally held in the BBQ area which is an ideal location as it is close to the drinks bar and snack bar.

So if you are in the area next Anzac Day make sure that you attend the Dawn Service, join us for Breakfast then around 1.00pm thrill to the big game as the call "Come In Spinner" echoes around the village.

The Tavern is also a popular venue for those attending other major events in and around the Village. These include:

• The Wollombi Cattle Sales - held 2nd Saturday in each month.
• The Wollombi Festival, held each September.
• Market Days which are held on the Public Holiday associated with a long week-end.
• Weddings - with our ample parking, heliport, extensive grounds, proximity to beautifully maintained country churches and local accommodation establishments, the Tavern's grounds are a popular location for wedding receptions and photo opportunities.
